ANCC Certification Exam Study Guide
The American Nurse Credentialing Center certification exam or the ANCC examination is for the registered nurses who have completed the graduation in acute care in NP and have gained the masters, post masters or the doctorate degree in the nursing field. To be eligible for appearing for the ANCC certification exam the candidate must have completed 500 clinical hours of practice in acute care.
ANCC exam format
The ANCC examination has 175 questions in total. 150 out of that are scored while the other 25 are the pretest questions for the future references. The candidates who don’t clear this examination receive an account pinpointing their weaknesses through the examination.
